Winston the wild westie was as wild as could be
He peed on floors and neighbours doors and once he peed on me
He wasn’t like the other dogs that peed out on a tree
Winston could not contain himself when he got excited, you see
When Nana came to visit we were all a little wary
That Winston might just explode from being way to cheery
But as she walked into the house Winston’s mood, it didn’t vary
That is, until he saw that she had brought her pet canary
Every time that sweet bird sang, Winston got so very jealous
He’d run around and knock things down, but why, he could not tell us
Finally we’d had enough of him being overzealous
So we agreed and devised a plan that hopefully wouldn’t fail us
When Winston came into the room to fight with Nana’s bird
We all sang along with it, a sound as never been heard
Winston stood and looked confused from us then to the bird
And all at once he joined us too, howling with every word
Who would’ve guessed that Winston would have been a singing maestro
When Nana heard she laughed out loud to see the little dog try so
She fussed over him and picked him up leaving the bird in his shadow
What she didn’t know was he had to go, the cheeky desperado
And what you might think happened didn’t come to pass
He jumped down, ran through the door, and out onto the grass
He didn’t want to offend Nana and went where he should at last
Now we don’t have peeing problems, we’re just stuck with his gas
